Those of you who are unaware: “ZolYin.com” has returned back to it’s blogging days.

A little about this site: a few years ago I started this as a writer who wanted to document the creative process from conception to publishing. A lot has happened since then and I allowed a lot of distractions to pull me away from that but the buck stops here. I allowed a few years to slip by as I whittled away on an idea that was a passion project into a full blown legacy. That’s right, this little hobby has completely taken over my life.

It started out in bits and pieces, as things that didn’t really matter to me began to fall away, all that remained was one thing: my creative work and my passion for sci-fi and fantasy. My passion for pulp also became more and more obvious to me as I gravitated towards stories that were bombastic, action oriented and unapologetically masculine. Accepting these things made me realized I would never be served by the mainstream.

What is currently promoted isn’t entertaining to me nor particularly interesting. It’s quite strange to live in an era were such content is shunned by mega-corporations and literary oligarchs but such is their loss. I will be consuming more, talking about and providing works of my own that will cater to that wide audience.
